SDT International is hiring a Field Application Engineer
For our Brussels (Forest) headquarters, we are recruiting a Field Application Engineer. Be the primary technical/product expert supporting SDT’s network (Sales Managers, Distributors, Direct Customers, etc.), ensuring deep technical knowledge of all SDT solutions, particularly permanent monitoring systems (OnGuard, Vigilant, O4US).
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Serve as the first-line technical support for SDT’s network, providing expertise on all product specifications and applications.
- Take full ownership of “project engineering client” cases currently handled by R&D.
- Prepare and manage specific technical quotations.
- Provide technical support for regional sales in Belgium and the Netherlands and potentially for marine project engineering.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong technical background with the ability to master SDT’s product range in detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Fluent in English and Dutch (mandatory).
- Experience in technical sales or field applications is a plus but not the focus.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with internal teams.
- Partial office presence required.
